A nod to the astrology sign Aquarius, both 'vessel' and 'water bearer' explore the paradoxical truth that to receive, we must also give. This abstract figurative work depicts a woman pouring water, or being poured on. In that the womb is the most archetypal vessel, the work also gives a nod to motherhood and a woman's ability to be the ultimate holding space.
Ships Framed: Each piece is beautifully framed in handcrafted basswood. The frames are meticulously sanded, stained in an antique oak finish, and sealed with satin for a timeless, elegant appearance.
