Inspired by the artist’s personal experience of dancing by the ocean under a full moon, ‘Fated Encounters’ depicts the ecstatic celebration — with community, with a lover, with nature, and with the divine. Maceda creates space not only across the composition, but within it, inviting the viewer to travel more deeply into the canvas and into the interior landscapes beyond. With sun and moon in the same composition, the artist suggests an experience that transcends time, space and culture: deeply personal, but also universal.

Ships Framed: Each piece is beautifully framed in handcrafted basswood. The frames are meticulously sanded, stained in an antique oak finish, and sealed with satin for a timeless, elegant appearance.
